1. In order to further standardize, manage and reasonably use the social scholarship, the present measures are formulated with reference to the actual situation of the university.
2. Social groups, enterprises and individuals are willing to provide free financial aid to help the undergraduate and junior college students who are excellent in both character and study to solve their financial difficulties, and the management agency shall be set up in the Student Affairs Office after consultation with the university.
3. The financial office of the university is responsible for setting up a special account to manage the social bursary, and the student office is responsible for absorbing and determining the assisted students and distributing the social bursary. According to the agreement, the social grant can be named according to the will of the donors.
4. The recipients are full-time undergraduate and junior college students of Jilin University who are in financial difficulties and are excellent in both character and study.
5. Those who meet the following conditions are eligible to apply for the social scholarship.
(1) Love for the motherland, adherence to the four basic principles, progressive thinking, and concern for the collective and others.
(2) Abide by school rules and discipline and have good moral character.
(3) Families in financial difficulty and receiving state student loans.
(4) Excellent academic performance and above average academic year major ranking.
(5) Living frugally and without waste.
6. The evaluation procedure shall be as follows.
(1) The student himself or herself applies and produces a certificate of hardship.
(2) The college agrees and publicizes it for three days.
(3) Fill in the application form for the social scholarship of Jilin University and submit it to the Student Affairs Office for approval.
7. A student's financial aid shall be terminated after the student has received the grant in one of the following cases.
(1) Violation of school discipline and disciplinary action, including warnings.
(2) Failing two or more required courses in a year.
(3) Smoking, alcoholism and other extravagant spending behaviors after receiving the grant.
(4) Misrepresenting the degree of hardship.
8. The granting method includes one-time grant and monthly grant.
9. If the funder has special requirements, the agreement signed between the funder and the school shall be implemented.
10. These Measures shall be implemented from the date of promulgation.
