Training program for Doctoral students of traffic information engineering and control

1.Training objectives
The doctoral education must carry out the national educational policy, insisting on the principle of "quality first, integrate theory with practice" and meeting the requirements of "facing modernization, facing the world and facing the future", to cultivate high-level professionals with all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique in accordance The specific requirements are as follows:
(1)Master the basic principles of Marxism, adhere to the four basic principles, love the motherland, abide by discipline and law, rigorous style of study, good moral character, and have the scientific spirit of seeking truth from facts, constantly seeking new knowledge and daring to create, to actively serve the socialist construction.
(2)Master the solid and broad basic theory and systematic and in-depth specialized knowledge of the discipline, can independently engage in scientific research and teaching work, organize to solve major theoretical or practical problems, and make creative achievements in science or special technology.
(3)Master at least one foreign language, be proficient in reading foreign language materials, and can write academic papers and conduct international academic exchanges.
(4)Have a healthy body.
2. Research directions
The name of the research directions, the main contents of the research directions and the leaders of the research directions are shown in Table 1.
3. Length of learning and time allocation
(1)The length of study for full-time doctoral students is generally three years.
(2)The length of study for on-the-job doctoral students is generally four years
(3)For doctoral students who have achieved the training objectives ahead of time, achieved outstanding achievements and made creative achievements, their academic years can be appropriately extended after their application, tutor's consent, the college's approval and the graduate school's approval, and they are allowed to reply in advance and apply for degrees. Those who can't complete their studies on time due to objective reasons can be appropriately extended with their application, tutor's consent, college's approval and graduate school's approval. (for details, please refer to the relevant regulations of Jilin University on graduate students' early graduation). Those who have not submitted an extension report or have not completed their doctoral dissertation defense after a long period of application shall be considered as having completed their studies.
4. Curriculums and credit requirements
The credit system is adopted in the course study of doctoral students. Doctoral students should obtain at least 16 credits for their courses, including no less than 12 credits for degree courses.
The course of doctoral degree examinations should include:
(1)Marxist Theory Course
The course of "Marxism and contemporary ideological trend" is offered to doctoral students of liberal arts, and the course of "modern science and technology and Marxism" is offered to doctoral students of various specialties of industry, agriculture and medicine.
Class hours: 40 class hours in classes
Credits: 2 credits.
(2)Foreign language
The teaching credits of the first national language (English, Japanese, Russian, French, etc.) are two parts: basic foreign language and professional foreign language.
The classroom teaching of basic foreign languages are arranged by the graduate training office in the first place, and the teaching and assessment of professional foreign languages are arranged by the training units themselves.
(3)The minimum credits of basic theory courses and professional courses are 6 credits, among which the basic theory courses are not less than 4 credits.
(4)Second foreign language (English, Japanese, Russian, French, etc.) is an elective course. Students and their tutors decide whether to choose a foreign language according to their needs. As the first foreign language is non-English, English must be selected as a second foreign language.

5. Training mode
(1)The cultivation of doctoral students is mainly based on scientific research. The key task is to cultivate the ability to engage in scientific research independently, and choose the relevant courses according to the requirements of the training program, the needs of the dissertations and personal characteristics.
(2)The system of tutor responsibility is adopted in the cultivation of doctoral students, and the collective guidance is mainly adopted. Each student should set up a guidance group centering on the tutor. The doctoral guidance group may be nominated by the tutor and reported to the graduate training office for the record according to the research direction and subject content of the doctoral candidate. In general, the members of the guidance group should be at least two academic echelon members (including tutors) with the title of associate professor or above, and interdisciplinary experts can also be invited to participate.
(3)The tutors shall, according to the requirements of the training program of the discipline and in combination with the foundation and specialty of the doctoral students, guide them to work out the personal training plan within three months after the doctoral students enter the university. The training plan should make a detailed plan for the specific and progress of course learning, proposal report, academic activities, scientific research, dissertation, etc. Doctoral course study can be carried out alternately with thesis work, but all credits must be obtained before the thesis is finalized at the latest.
(4)The tutors should actively arrange and help doctoral students to participate in academic exchanges at home and abroad, understand the academic trends at home and abroad, broaden their scientific horizons, activate academic ideas, and master the subject preface.
(5)The tutors and the guiding group should attach importance to the ideological and political education and moral quality education of doctoral students, and care about the overall growth of doctoral students.
(6)The colleges (centers and institutes) of doctoral students should strive to create a good academic environment for doctoral students. All disciplines should actively hold academic seminars or academic reports to create opportunities for doctoral students to learn and communicate.
6. Opening report
To ensure the quality of dissertations, tutors should determine the scope of topics for each doctoral candidate as soon as possible. Under the guidance of tutors, through reading literature and academic research, the scope of thesis topics should be proposed, and the opening report meeting of the doctoral dissertations should be held before the end of the third semester. The training unit shall be responsible for organizing the opening report, and the original materials of the opening report shall be kept by each training unit until the students graduate for reference.
7. Academic activities (stage report)
Doctoral students are required to attend more than four academic reports or lectures (excluding the opening report) of their discipline or related disciplines during the semester. After the completion of the opening report, the doctoral students shall hold at least one report on the achievements of the thesis stage in combination with the thesis work during the thesis work. 2 compulsory credits will be obtained after the above steps are be completed. All colleges (centers and institutes) should actively create conditions for doctoral students to complete this link, seriously formulate assessment methods, and do a good job in the assessment and archiving of results.
8. Mid-term examination of dissertations
In the mid-term of doctoral dissertation work, each training unit should organize a unified inspection of the doctoral dissertation work, and assess according to the requirements of the mid-term examination and assessment form for doctoral dissertation. The assessment results should be kept in the College (center, Institute) where the doctoral candidate works, and the graduate school will organize personnel to conduct a random inspection. Those who fail to pass the mid-term inspection will be given a yellow card warning, and a follow-up inspection will be carried out.
9. Dissertations
The basic requirements, evaluation and defense of doctoral dissertations should be carried out following the relevant provisions of the Interim Measures for the implementation of academic hierarchy of the people's Republic of China and Interim rules for conferring academic degrees of Jilin University.
